From The Shadows is a unique collection that is more then just abstraction and typography. It is made from a period of four years in Garrett Gassman's life his bold messages collectively tell his story and individually symbolize moments and emotions that were said or he wanted to say. His goal with this collection is to talk about introspection: how raw emotion can control us, how we must control our selfs, and how we must never reject our shadow self. Garrett visualizes this concept with the use of hidden messages in some of these works while others are bold statements with no hidden meaning.
